Economy in the Age of Aquarius

When people around the world start awaking, change their minds and comprehend their true nature, all the areas of life will be changed greatly. Definitely, social and economy changes are the most important for everyday reality. Economists of the past used to discuss the question of base and superstructure from an egocentric point of view because they have a dualistic mind. But if we deny old paradigms and ways of thinking we can clearly see that the true basis, the main starting point is our mind and perception. Knowing self and the world around, awaking and obvious comprehension of “Who am I” is a clue to new economy and politics.

Understanding that I am the world and the world is me, feeling that we all are each other’s extensions would strongly transform the base of interpersonal communication.

Awakened people have no need in laws, rules or any external forcing to behave altruistically without hurting other people. For them it is quite obvious and natural to “love thy neighbor as thyself”. When one is able to feel someone else’s pain and joy as his own the Bible commandment becomes more than just words but the only way of life. Dreams of utopianists could finally come true with the beginning of a new era. Such things as war, lies, robbery, forcing, violence and exploitation are nonsense in the society of awakened!

In the Age of Aquarius economic communication would be ruled by the boomerang principle. The more you give, the more you get. However, that model is not a communism, as we know it throughout history. But there is no place for capitalism, either.

The new economic system of our version of the future should be a kind of socialism. Private ownership and trade still remain but with higher level of social responsibility both personal and civic. Volunteering, charity, patronage, civic and social responsibility, artel manufacturing and so on would become a great part of the future society. Because an awakened person is to comprehend that the whole world is himself and there is nothing but him around.
